Milan kept running from where she had been in the middle of the city. She had been at Magnoli Bakery with Brynne because they served one of the best cupcakes ever there. She had made a important choice earlier that day, and she didn’t know why she chose the one she chose, but she did. Or rather, her heart had done the choosing for her. She was supposed to go to Greece that night, but she was told to make a choice about who to take with her. Milan had originally asked her ex Landon to go with her, but then he had told her that morning to take the guy she had liked over him. The guy was Myles Hampton. She had wanted to talk to him before she left, but so far she hadn’t been able to do so, but time was running out. She couldn’t wait all day to talk to him, she had to get going. She hadn’t known what she would say to him, other than apologize to him, but she would do that still sometime soon. She only hoped that Bee was right about him not hating her for everything.
Milan could’ve stopped for a cab any time, but she was far too wet to really care now anyway about getting wet. Clothes’ can easily be replaced, and if she got sick, well then she would worry about that later. At least she wasn’t wearing high heels because then she wouldn’t have been able to run like how she was running. Mil ran all the way to the Upper East Side and finally reached her destination before her final destination. Landon’s place. She jogged up the steps and rang the bell before bending over slightly and catching her breath. After all that running she did, she only hoped he was home because it had been since high school when she ran like that when she was on the soccer team. Her body was killing her now, and she was also cold because of the rain. Milan sighed when he didn’t come to the door and knocked on the door a few times loudly, and a bit urgently. ”Please be home,” she muttered under her breath, turning slightly.
She still had time to back out if she wanted to, he would never know she was there unless he was looking out of the window from somewhere. But milan would know what she had done, and going against her heart this time didn't seem ideal to her at the moment. She knew that Landon probably wasn't the best choice for her, but she couldn't really explain herself on this decision.
[ooc- so yeah.. it sucks, its been awhile since I've posted but I thought we should do a thread since we havent done one in a really long time, and we can keep posts short if you want to.]

landon had already unpacked and repacked his suitcase twice that day. he'd been just fine with his plans until he'd logged online and noticed what milan and her friends were chatting about. myles hampton. he didn't know the boy, but according to the web and according to milan and her friends, he and milan had something. he wasn't the type of man to care about the feelings of others, but he didn't want to be the heartless man that women only chose out of spite anymore. it was about time landon found himself some morals.
he had finished packing his suit case just as the bell to his condo rang. someone was here and he hadn't a clue who it might be. well, that wasn't true, he had a clue. he tucked his suit case away under his bed and made his ways through his house, taking his own time, shaking his head as who ever stood on the other side of his door began to knock eagerly. he gripped and turned the knob and the stone cold landon seemed to lose his edge when he saw who stood on his door step. milan tended to take his edge off always, no matter the situation. mil! he scolded, grasping her by the upper arms and pulling her inside. you're going to get yourself sick.
he continued pulling her inside, while he walked backwards toward the bathroom, finally letting go of her as they made it to the bathroom. he handed her a towel. are you crazy? why didn't you take a cab or call?

milan hadn't really noticed how cold she was until landon had pulled her inside and scolded her and telling her she was going to get sick. Her teeth was chattering and she was shivering like a leaf, so she couldn't really answer. This probably wasn't the best idea she ever had before. She just followed him through his condo and saw that he had lead her to his bathroom and handed her a towel, which she gratefully took. Mil wrapped the towel around her shoulders and kept the towel close.
Are you crazy? Why didn't you take a cab or call? when landon asked her that, mil looked away and sighed in frustration. "Yeah Landon, maybe I am crazy. Actually, I'm pretty sure that I am crazy. And I didn't do either of those two things because I wasn't thinking. I haven't really been thinking about my actions much at all lately. But I ran down here in the cold rain for a reason." Milan paused to look at him in the eyes before speaking again. "And that reason is you."

it was easy to say that landon was confused. it was easy to see that landon was confused. his jaw hung open and he lifted a brow. me? what about me? she was being very vague and landon was sometimes one of those men that needed things spelled out for him. him. what about him? was it time for them to leave for greece now? she didn't have her luggage so he didn't think that was it. was she here to tell him she didn't want to go? or that she didn't want to go with him? maybe she'd taken his advice and asked this myles fellow to go with her. he didn't know and he wouldn't until she explained further.
he reached behind him for a clean wash rag, reaching forward and drying her face, using the rag to squeeze at the ends of her hair and collect the water. come on, he led her into his room, digging through his drawers and digging out a pair of his old basketball sweats and a t shirt. they'll be big, but they're dry. he was doing his best to keep the confusion off of her expression but he knew he wasn't doing that great of a job. did she mean she wanted to be with him again? they'd failed at that the first time around, having had more cons than pros. was she here to tell him that them having spent the last few days together was a mistake? he didn't doubt she might think that, even if he didn't. he licked his lips and managed to shake confused expression from his face. he looked to her. what about me?

Milan could've buried her head into her hands and just shake her head then in dispair but she didn't do that. She had to be straight with Landon now. She was quiet while he dried her hair out with a towel for her and lead her to his room, trying to collect her thoughts. She couldn't be confused right now. He had told her earlier to take myles instead of him, but here she was instead for who knows why really. They had been together before and hadn't worked out, so she didn't know why her heart chose him over Myles for the answer.
Milan looked at the basketball sweats and the t-shirt he had handed her for a second before taking them. He was right, they would be big on her, but they were dry and she needed to get out of these clothes. She looked around, thinking about turning around somewhere to change, but being uncomfortable about that around him was a little silly because the past few days he had seen a lot more than her in her underwear. Milan placed the towel on the floor and changed into his clothes only feeling a little self concious while doing so. " Thank you," she muttered, feeling warmer now that she was out of her wet clothes. She still had goosebumps, but those she could handle.
Milan closed her eyes for a second when landon asked her what about him again. She couldn't not answer or get out of this now, nor did she really want to. Milan should've felt like the past few days had been a mistake for her, but it wasn't a mistake to her. Just being with him should feel like a mistake again, but it wasn't. She wasn't entirely too sure what to say about that or if now was the time to say something. She took a deep breath before finally answering him. " I want to go to Greece with you. Not Myles. You, Landon. I chose you to go with me."
